I want to buy if the ADX is equal to or greater than 25 , with a filter that the adx is rising ie last bar is greater than 2nd last bar

I think the first part would be

Buy at market, blank, 1m, last bar, ADX,14, blank, blank,greater than,1m,last bar,nominated value,25,blank,blank.
Is this correct???

I have problems coding the second line ie the rising ADX filter. How do I compare the last bar's ADX value to the 2nd last bar's ADX value. What is the coding for this

It is just a matter of nominating the required lookback

I do not understand why the first line should not have a lookback of "last bar". Does agility trader wait until the candle bar is closed to take a trade. ie only open trade on open of next bar when conditions are meet or does it open trade mid bar if conditions are meet. If I add "Last bar" to lookback will it then only open trade on close of bar? Do not understand regarding leaving Lookback blank compared to using "last bar".

A Lookback (Lbk) value left blank implies the Last Bar (value of 1). No calculations are made on the Current Bar unless the lookback is specifically to zero.

The Lbk value of 1 could have been left blank in lines 3 & 5 in the illustration above but was inserted for clarity to highlight the bars being referenced.
